Matroh LLC Cheerin Pinterest App Privacy Policy

Matroh LLC, doing business as Cheerin (“Matroh LLC”, “Cheerin”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), owns and operates the Cheerin brand and the cheerin.net ecommerce website. This Privacy Policy describes how the internal application named Matroh LLC Cheerin Organic Publishing accesses, uses, and protects information through the Pinterest API.

Purpose of the application

Matroh LLC Cheerin Organic Publishing is an internal, single-business-account content marketing tool used only by authorized Matroh LLC team members for the Cheerin Pinterest business account. It helps a team member prepare original Cheerin greeting-card content, choose a Cheerin-owned board, schedule an approved Pin, link it to a relevant page on cheerin.net, and view account or content performance on demand. The application is not offered to unrelated third parties or the general public.

Human review and publishing control

Every Pin must be individually reviewed, selected, and approved by an authorized Matroh LLC team member before it is scheduled or published. The application does not independently decide what to publish and does not perform follows, likes, comments, messages, saves, or other engagement automation.

Pinterest information accessed

After an authorized Cheerin account administrator completes Pinterest’s OAuth authorization flow, the application may access only the authenticated Cheerin account profile, Cheerin-owned public boards and Pins, and account or Pin performance information needed for the approved functions. The application requests only boards:read, boards:write, pins:read, pins:write, and user_accounts:read. It does not access other Pinners’ accounts, Pins, or boards.

The application does not request or collect Pinterest usernames, passwords, session cookies, or other login credentials. Authentication is performed directly by Pinterest through OAuth.

How information is used

Pinterest information is used only to show the authorized team member the current Cheerin-owned boards and Pins, publish a Pin the team member has specifically approved, prevent an unintended repeat request during the active publishing operation, and display performance information to that authorized team member on demand. Pinterest information is not used for competitor research, platform benchmarking, off-Pinterest advertising, or profiling.

Storage and security

The application does not persist information retrieved from the Pinterest API, including Pinterest board data, Pin data, account data, or organic performance responses. It calls the Pinterest API each time current Pinterest information is needed and discards transient API responses after the requested operation or display is complete.

Matroh LLC may retain its own original creative files, product URLs, copy, internal approval decisions, and intended publishing times that were created independently of the Pinterest API. OAuth access and refresh tokens are kept only in a restricted secret-management environment, are never placed in public documents or source-code repositories, and are accessible only to authorized Matroh LLC personnel who operate the application.

Sharing and sale of information

Matroh LLC does not sell, license, combine, or share information obtained from the Pinterest API with unrelated third parties or other advertising services. The application is used only to provide the described service to the authenticated Cheerin account.

Retention, deletion, and revocation

OAuth tokens are retained only while the Cheerin Pinterest account remains connected and the application is in use. The account administrator may revoke the application’s access through Pinterest account settings. To request deletion of application configuration or Matroh LLC-owned scheduling records, contact info@cheerin.net. After a verified request or disconnection, Matroh LLC will delete tokens and application records that are no longer required for security or legal purposes.

Third-party services

Pinterest’s handling of information is governed by Pinterest’s own terms and privacy policies. The Cheerin ecommerce website has a separate customer privacy policy available at https://cheerin.net/pages/privacy-policy.

Changes to this policy

Matroh LLC may update this policy to reflect changes to the application, Pinterest API requirements, or applicable law. The effective date will be updated when material changes are published.
